Don’t believe that they are Cinderella? A couple of my ECU friends have insisted that they aren’t a Cinderella story through email and comments on this site:
Cinderella story?!?! Granted our Pirates weren’t preseason favorites, but those were solid wins over VT and WVU. Hardly fairytale stuff. Never any respect. *Throws hat at computer* – Leon
I wish that we, here at Curveballs for Jesus, could believe that ECU is actually a legitimate powerhouse. But we feel that they fit the very definition of a Cinderella. In fact, our friend and commenter Hale Yeah, was on campus in Greenville earlier today as East Carolina was getting ready to head to NC State. As they were leaving, she was able to snap this shot of the mascot coming out of the Pirates’ field house:
I’m just saying ….

For the record, I “snapped that photo” in response to Patrick’s response that the story was coming to an END.
Damn media, always twisting everything I say/do.
But hurray for cut and paste!
Hale Yeah,
I don’t know what to say. Getting involved with that one *shrugs head toward Tennessee.” LOL!
Oh “Adam”…
*insert giggle*
It just had to be a carolina blue dress, didn’t it?
HAHA, wow, unintended insult. NICE
I just thought that Hale Yeah was a evil genius.
She is, but you can blame Disney for the Carolina blue.
