Tim Russert and the Big Guy must be having a blast together because it appears that He has decided to start rooting for the Bills again. What a day!
Let us count the gifts we received, starting with the big one first:

It was a convincing victory, and the Bills looked solid all around. Our special teams unit is just nasty, and our defense is pretty dang good too. Good performance against a good NFC team, and even Edwards looked pretty good once he got into a rhythm. Brady could be out for the season, which bodes well for the Bills notching at least one win over the Pats this season. Matt Cassel could be okay, but let’s face it: he’s never been anything but a backup. Also being reported is that Chris Simms is visiting New England today, and a visit is being set up with Tim Rattay. If that’s the best they can come up with, I am not that afraid of the Patriots anymore. Favre and the Jets even struggled a bit against the Dolphins. I like the Bills for the playoffs more and more everyday!
The title of this post is something that Tim Graham, blogger for the AFC East, wrote in his article yesterday. In the spirit of full disclosure, many accuse Graham of being a Bills homer. He claims he is a former Cleveland Browns (now the Ravens) fan and roots for the NFL in general and not one particular team since the Browns left. He has covered sports in Buffalo, Boston, and Miami, so he is uniquely qualified to write about the East.
